Intervention Development, Dissemination, and Implementation Shared Resource

This expertise supports them in developing, testing or disseminating behavioral, educational and systems interventions to prevent cancer, detect cancer early and/or improve survivorship among Georgia residents.

We have a track record of helping researchers refine research questions, identify and develop instruments to answer those questions, and collect and analyze behavioral research data using quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods approaches. Our services include:

• Formative research with diverse populations
  • Gather data for the development and implementation of intervention programs through interviews or focus groups
  • Conduct community assessment to examine barriers and facilitators to intervention/change strategies
• Grant proposal or study protocol development
  • Help develop conceptual model, specific aims, study design, and data collection and analysis plans
• Intervention research
  • Examine change strategies and their effectiveness with various populations
  • Adapt intervention to new populations or settings
• Dissemination and implementation research
  • Implementation science (barriers and facilitators to implementation, studying implementation strategies) and evaluation
  • Design and assess the effectiveness of strategies to implement an intervention
